Documentary | DANSE LA DANSE - NACHO DUATO (2012)-Director: Alain Deymier/ Spain (66.00). Moscow, july 2010. 42ºC. At the Bolshoi and at the Mossoveta tension grows. Nacho Duato bows goodbye to the Spanish National Dance Company he has directed for the last twenty years. The starman blows off. Smiles, emotions, remembrances, hopes, doubts and certitudes. He leads us along his wake to the dark side of dance. Yesterday the embodiment of Spanish dance, tomorrow commanding the Saint Petersburg Michailovsky Ballet, Nacho Duato still holds centre stage. In spite of the nostalgic aura within every goodbye, the optimism of creativity dwells here within the soul and energy of a choreographic renaissance.
Η θητεία του καταξιωμένου χορευτή και χορογράφου Νάτσο Ντουάτο στη θέση του καλλιτεχνικού διευθυντή του θιάσου ήταν συνώνυμη της καινοτομίας, καθώς στο ρεπερτόριο εντάχθηκαν σύγχρονες χορογραφίες. Στην καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση του Εθνικού Μπαλέτου σήμερα βρίσκεται ο Ερβέ Παλίτο. Ο καταξιωμένος Ισπανός χορογράφος Νάτσο Ντουάτο, καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του Εθνικού Μπαλέτου της Ισπανίας, από το 1990 έως το 2010.
